Superstar Mahesh Babu tasted his career’s biggest flop with Brahmotsavam that released during the summer. Mahesh has been on a break and he has not been attending any functions and never seen in public after the debacle of the film. Sreekanth Addala directed the film and Samantha, Kajal, Praneetha played the female leads. Prasad V Potluri produced Brahmotsavam on PVP Cinema banner.
The actor signed his next movie in the direction of AR Murugadoss and the movie is said to be a stylish action thriller. Mahesh will be seen in a dual role in the film and the regular shoot of the film will start from July 31st. Though the shoot of the film has been planned to be started in June, Mahesh is not completely ready for the film’s shoot. Parineeti Chopra has been initially roped in for the female lead. After months of discussion, the actress has been signed and the actress quoted Rs 5 crores initially however it was AR Murugadoss who convinced for Rs 3.5 crores.
Now the actress received a huge shock from the makers of the film as she has been replaced with Rakul Preet Singh. Rakul has been signed for the film and she has been paid Rs 1 crore as remuneration. The makers saved enough money by replacing Parineeti said a source. However to prevent the damage, Parineeti responded saying that she has been in talks for the movie as they have never confirmed her. She also revealed that there has been no topic about the remuneration and all these happenings are rumours.
The movie will be shot simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil languages. NV Prasad and Tagore Madhu will produce the Telugu version and the Tamil version will be bankrolled by AR Murugadoss Productions in association with Fox Star Studios. The movie will hit the screens during next year.
