Serena Williams has once again proved why she is one of the legends and world No.1 in tennis after she equals Steffi Graf’s record of 22 Grand Slams. She has achieved this amazing feat, taking a seventh Wimbledon title with a set to win 7-5, 6-3 over Angelique Kerber in England.
With this, Williams has won three straight Grand Slam finals.Talking about her opponent in the Wimbledon final, she said that she loved playing Kerber and added that the No.4 seed had brought the great tennis in her. She also lauded her saying Kerber was such a great opponent to play with. Earlier this year, she lost finals at the Australian and French Opens and semifinals at the 2015 United States Open.
Williams fell onto the grass, taking a long-awaited moment after closing the game with a forehand hit. Her 43 per cent of serves went unreturned.
