Rhea Chakraborty and her sibling Showik Chakraborty were arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) authorities after they had storng proof in the drug purchase case. Rhea Chakraborty was produced in the court and she has been sent to Byculla prison in Mumbai. Rhea Chakraborty and her sibling Showik Chakraborty applied for bail and the meetings court dismissed their bail plea today.
The Narcotics Control Bureau claims that Rhea Chakraborty and her sibling were involved with drug dealing. They said that they have recouped the evidences from their WhatsApp talks and from their laptops, tablets. The court granted 14-days legal custody for Rhea Chakraborty, Showik Chakraborty and three others for this case. On the opposite side, the officials of the Enforcement Directorate are in plans to enroll one more case against Rhea Chakraborty on illegal tax avoidance according to the examination done by the NCB.
