Meditation & its myths

In shallow men the fish of little thoughts cause much commotion. In oceanic minds the whales of inspiration make hardly a rufle.
Meditation means Dhyana. It is articulated by ancient saint sri patanjali as part of Asthanga yoga. Meditation does not mean sitting simply closing our eyes. It should be adopted following a definite technique. Many a people often get confused with hallucinations as resultant effects of meditation that they do. The practice of meditation needs complete surrender of senses. Once senses are surrendered where is the vent for hallucinations.
Meditation is not an alliance of any specific religion. All great saints and prophets were great souls who meditated their life time to get in union with the almighty.
Wishing you a happy EID to you and your family.
