Kajal Agarwal complete 10 years in South Indian cinema recently however she has terrific craze all over. She has been giving tough competition for the young actresses and she is even busy with number of endorsements and commercials. The actress has been quoting Rs 2 crores as remuneration which made many filmmakers search for other alternate options. The actress spent almost a year idle without movies as she was not in a mood to compromise on her remuneration.
Finally she has been roped in as the female lead in couple of big films like Sardaar Gabbar Singh and Brahmotsavam. The movies released during summer this year and they ended up as debacles. This is the time the actress has been badly criticized about the success as both the films failed to impress the audience. Kajal scored two massive hits in Bollywood with Singham and Special 26 in the past. After a long gap, she tested her luck with Do Lafzon Ki Kahani and the movie too ended up disappointing the actress.
Kajal has been left with no offers currently and the actress is currently busy wrapping up her commitments. The latest news we hear is that she has been approached to play the female lead in Thala Ajith’s upcoming movie which has been tentatively reffered as Thala 57. The movie will be directed by Siva and the regular shoot of the film will start during the last week of August.
The movie is said to be a stylish action entertainer and will be shot completely abroad. The film is said to be a action spy drama and will hit the screens during summer next year. AM Rathnam will produce the movie which will be shot simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu languages. Kajal pinned huge hopes on the film and is in plans to bounce back with a huge hit.
