As per latest reports, 10 members of Chennai Super Kings franchise have tested corona positive. An Indian player who is on the team had also tested Covid-19 positive.
As said by the CSK management, a member from social media wing of the franchise and 2 net bowlers have also tested positive for Covid-19.As a safety measure, the entire team and support staff will be tested for Covid-19 today and a decision on training camp will be taken after the results come out. It is said that the quarantine period of the players and staff might be extended further.
The Indian Premier League 2020 is set to commence from September 19th and the teams are expected to commence training sessions in the next 3-4 days.
