France down Germany to enter Euro finals

Antoine Griezmann’s heroic two goals in the semi-final match against Germany on Friday power his team France into Euro final on Monday. In the final match, the hosts will face Ronaldo’s Portugal who downed Wales on Thursday. Both France and Portugal scored two goals each in their semi-final matches to reach the final match.
Though world champions Germany started on an aggressive note and continued to build pressure on the hosts. The referee saw German captain Bastain Schweinsteiger handling the ball. Antoine’s penalty kick gave his team a sigh of relief. I had to calm the players in the dressing room at half-time as the opponent took advantage of the penalty, the German coach was quoted as saying by an international media house. Germany players controlled themselves in the second half but in vain. The France star scored another goal in the 72nd minute, keeping the opponents out of the tournament. Antoine now has six goals to his name in this tournament.
All the efforts of the German players made a narrow miss in the game.
Following the victory of France, its coach Didier Deschamps lauded the opponent team as a great one. He added that the Germans were tough, but his team did a great job to enter into the final match.
