Today, in the morning hours, due to cardiac arrest, famous Vijayawada politician, Devineni Nehru passed away. He is known for his active part in the assassination of Vangaveeti Ranga and for his fight with the Vangaveeti family after initial friendship.
He and his brothers, Devineni Gandhi and Devineni Murali are known for their rowdy style politics as the only powerful group that could with stand Vangaveeti Ranga aggression. But the assassination of both Gandhi and Murali subdued Nehru and he rode on the sympathy wave to ensure a successful political career.
He started off as a member of student union, SFI in Vijayawada and slowly grew in stature with the caste support and Ranga’s Friendship. After, they settling out the issues of Labour and establishing Autonagar in Vijayawada, the friends turned into political foes and the fight between the groups went so far that they decided to attack each other for survival.
Recently, a film was also released showing one side of the story, Vangaveeti directed by Ram Gopal Verma. Devineni Nehru is survived by his son and the famous politician who is known for his jumping jack politics, hope will be rest in peace in his divine abode, at least.
