We have been hearing a lot of storied related to caste wars since our childhood days. Two prominent castes in AP Khamma & Kapu have been fighting head on head since the ages. Vangaveeti Ranga & Nehru clash has added further fight to the battle. Kapu community plays a vital role in vote bank politics. Current CM Chandrababu Naidu has been quite successful in wooing BC/Kapu voters for sometime. However Mr Mudragadda Padmanabham who is the face of kapu community has brought up once again kapu reservations. Though this is not the first time the community has demanded for it, timing of the “Yudhayamam” remains questionable. With leaders like Botsa satyanarayana & Ambati rambabu becoming forefront leaders this movement is going to be here for a long time.
Once friends turned foes Mr Chiranjeevi & Dasari Narayana Rao have also come together for this cause and were seen being highly vocal about getting their rights in place. In the meanwhile all top brass have assembled in the home of Ex Minister Mr Pallam Raju to discuss on further planning of Mr Padmanabham’s”Nirahaara Deeksha”. Mr Padmanabham has been on hunger strike for 11 days and had been admitted in Rajamahendravaram hospital. In order to avoid any conflicts post TUNI incident, security has been beefed up every 100 meters from hospital.
