{"id":1589,"date":"2017-09-25T20:18:25","date_gmt":"2017-09-25T14:48:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.telugucm.com\/?p=1589"},"modified":"2017-09-25T20:18:25","modified_gmt":"2017-09-25T14:48:25","slug":"ysrcp-demands-white-paper-irrigation-projects","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.telugucm.com\/english\/ysrcp-demands-white-paper-irrigation-projects\/","title":{"rendered":"YSRCP demands white paper on irrigation projects"},"content":{"rendered":"<div dir=\"auto\"><b>Hyderabad:<\/b>\u00a0YSR Congress has demanded a white paper on the irrigation projects taken up by Telugu Desam government to set the record straight as Chandrababu Naidu and his cabinet colleagues were laying tall claims on the water management front.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Speaking to reporters here\u00a0<span class=\"aBn\"><span class=\"aQJ\">on Monday<\/span><\/span>, party MLA Y Visweswar Reddy said that Chandrababu Naidu and his cabinet colleagues were patting their own backs that they have done good service on the irrigation front while the fact remains otherwise.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Their criticism that YSR family did not do anything for Rayalaseema has no meaning and a white paper on the irrigation projects would call the bluff of TDP government, he said.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Almost all the projects in Rayalaseema under Jalayagnam have come close to completion during YSR term and now the ruling party staking tall claims only shows their cunning political agenda and their habit of trying to usurp other&#8217;s hard work, he said.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">What did Chandrababu Naidu do while he was Chief Minister during his earlier tenure is a scar on the state&#8217;s history of irrigation as he allowed the upper riparian states to draw more water and build dams indiscriminately, he said.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">On the contrary, YSR has allocated and spent crores of rupees on irrigation projects more so Pothireddipadu and increased its capacity.
