Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu is in big trouble as the internal squabbles among the leaders reached crescendo in the party ahead of 2019 elections.
The talk in political circles is that the increased number of ticket aspirants in every Assembly constituency and Chandrababu’s proposal to forge pre poll alliance with Congress already destabilized the ruling party.
Leaders said that the ticket aspirants already warned the party high command that they will not hesitate to quit the party or even to damage the winning prospects of the TDP if they are not given opportunity to fight elections.
The proposal to join hands with Congress has come as a big bomb for TDP leaders who have even dreamt of becoming legislators. Party leaders said that if TDP sacrificed some seats to Congress, the number of rebels to Telugu Desam will be more in next elections.
The YSR Congress MLAs who joined TDP and got posts in the government were already facing enmity with the TDP leaders in their respective Assembly segments. Political analysts says that the YSR Congress leaders who joined TDP will come back to their parent party if they are not given ticket. They are also ready to fight as rebels to TDP in next elections
